I am an olive coloured piece of origami paper.
You are a peach coloured piece of origami paper.
She is a pale toned piece of origami paper.
He is a brown piece of origami paper.
Just because we’re all a different shade of paper,
does that change the way we fold and make up something beautiful?
Is the whole idea of origami about the colour,
or the way a flat piece of paper
can be turned into a swan?

If you took a glance at this poem you could say that it relates to Racism and how all people can perform differently but beautifully.
ReplyDeleteBut if you focused on the "Is the whole idea of origami about the colour, or the way a flat piece of paper can be turned into a swan?" part, it sounds like "Something as simplistic as a piece of paper can fold into different shapes. And make something beautiful." Which made me look from two perspectives which I think is very important and hard to do.
Good Job!
